Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Assistant. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our clients and staff, including preparing and distributing documents, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in the coordination of workshops and events, including booking facilities, arranging catering, and coordinating with instructors and students.
- Enter, maintain, and update student data into our database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Coordinate the ordering and maintenance of office supplies, ensuring that our team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
- Troubleshoot issues with instructors or clients on training days, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Grade 12 plus a recognized office administration certificate/diploma or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum one year recent and relevant experience performing administrative and clerical work.
- Training and/or experience at the intermediate level in the use of common software packages, i.e. MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of common office procedures and protocols.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently under generalized supervision.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity and inclusivity.
