Job Title:

Restaurant Supervisor - Food Service Management

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Whistler Tacos La Cantina. As a key member of our food service management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food and beverage servers and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage servers and kitchen staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high-quality food standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required; however, relevant experience and skills are essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong leadership abilities.
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and be able to stand for extended periods. A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required for this role.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment:

This is a permanent full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure.
