We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Go Up Foods limited.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionWe require an experienced retail buyer who will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for our stores. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best possible prices and terms.
- Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
- Review business requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase based on market analysis and sales data.
