Job Summary
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join its Work Stress and Health (WSH) service. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based treatment services to clients referred by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments to diagnose and treat clients with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and other psychiatric disorders related to the workplace.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and healthcare professionals on mental health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in assessing and treating trauma and stressor-related disorders, mood, anxiety, and concurrent disorders.
- Experience with psychological assessments, including objective self-report instruments and structured diagnostic interviewing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- High degree of proficiency with computer-based programs and electronic communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in assessing response bias and pain assessment.
- Experience in addictions and/or concurrent disorders.
- Experience supporting specialty populations, such as military and first responders.
- Proficiency in a second language.
