About the Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary Chief Medical Officer for Innovation to join our team and drive transformational change within Fraser Health. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction to advance medical innovation, improve health outcomes, and enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy that aligns with Fraser Health's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in medical innovation.
- Leverage expertise and resources to design and deliver effective innovation initiatives that meet the needs of our staff and partners.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and other key stakeholders to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care.
Requirements:
- Eligibility for membership on the Fraser Health Medical Staff.
- Five (5) years leadership experience within the healthcare sector and experience in hospital-based leadership.
- A master's degree in health administration, nursing, business administration or equivalent experience.
- Additional leadership training.
- Experience with budgetary and operational planning.
