Medical Office Assistant

Location: Surrey, BC

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (40 hours per week)

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year

Our client is a specialist - solo practitioner seeking a reliable and experienced MOA to run the office. As the right hand, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations while providing compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and confirm medical appointments and surgeries
  • Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
  • Maintain office flow and provide clerical support for daily operations
  • Prepare and tidy exam rooms between patients
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and staff
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitasking as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Experience with FLEXIA or other EMR systems is preferred
  • Strong command of English (both written and spoken)
  • Reliable, professional, friendly, and adaptable
  • Prior experience in a specialist clinic
