Location: Surrey, BC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (40 hours per week)
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year
Benefits: Paid parking
Our client is a specialist - solo practitioner seeking a reliable and experienced MOA to run the office. As the right hand, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations while providing compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm medical appointments and surgeries
- Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
- Maintain office flow and provide clerical support for daily operations
- Prepare and tidy exam rooms between patients
- Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and staff
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitasking as required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Experience with FLEXIA or other EMR systems is preferred
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken)
- Reliable, professional, friendly, and adaptable
- Prior experience in a specialist clinic
