**Job Summary:**
Franzer Health is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Unit Clerk. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe physicians' orders, including test requisitions and medication and dietary requirements, by copying information, completing required forms, and distributing in accordance with Hospital policy.
- Schedule patient/resident activities, including diagnostic procedures, appointments, and transportation, by contacting appropriate departments, Physicians' offices, and outside agencies.
- Maintain related records and provide information to the Manager, including information about required levels of materials and supplies.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 and graduation from an approved Nursing Unit Clerk program, plus one (1) year's recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to transcribe accurately, schedule effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
