BioVectra is seeking a highly skilled Automation System Integrator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for integrating software databases to increase efficiencies, communication, and trend data.
Key Responsibilities- Integrate software databases to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision making.
- Provide hands-on support for manufacturing process and control systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Compile data into actionable dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
- Suggest and implement network, software, and data storage improvements to optimize system performance.
- Administer and participate in change control for computerized and process control systems.
- Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis to resolve operational issues with process and facility equipment.
- Execute projects on time, in scope, and on budget to support operational goals and priorities.
- Provide input into BioVectra's IT/OT controls strategy for future technology and technical standards.
- Maintain CAD drawings and collaborate on updating quality and training documents.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, CET, or Red Seal trade.
- Experience: 3+ years in industrial controls programming, IT, computer integration, or similar.
- Proficiency in C++, HTML, SQL server, or similar for data integration and reporting.
- Thorough knowledge of cloud-based data storage.
- Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming/maintaining.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
