Strategic Content Developer

We are seeking an experienced Content and Marketing Copywriter to join our team at Randstad Canada.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of converting to full-time. You will work remotely from within Canada, enjoying the flexibility and comfort of your home office.
You will be responsible for creating high-quality content across various channels, including digital marketing campaigns, blog posts, eBooks, and more. Your creative storytelling skills and ability to simplify complex concepts will make you a valuable asset to our marketing team.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the client's tone of voice across all customer touchpoints, ensuring consistency.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing leadership team to align copy with content objectives and the editorial calendar.
- Partner with external agencies and cross-functional teams to meet diverse copy needs.
- Produce engaging copy for various platforms, including blogs, emails, case studies, videos, eBooks, websites, social media, and print.
- Clearly and creatively communicate the client's value propositions to different target personas, focusing on driving engagement and results.
- Oversee the client's blog from start to finish, including writing, collaborating with designers for visuals, and posting the content.
- Optimize content for SEO to boost organic traffic and improve search rankings.
- Manage a small portion of writing assigned to internal and external partners, ensuring high quality and strong working relationships.
- Lead selected strategic initiatives where content plays a critical role.
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting across multiple media channels.
- Able to blend creative storytelling with professional, clear writing.
- Skilled at simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Post-secondary degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional writing skills.
- Experience in SaaS or healthcare writing is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, able to juggle multiple projects.
- Comfortable working both collaboratively across teams and independently.
- Eagerness to experiment, learn from results, and refine content based on performance insights.
- Brief knowledge of user experience (UX) writing principles.
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as WordPress, Google Suite, Asana, Confluence, HubSpot, Slack, Figma, and Sprinklr.
$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
