Occupational Therapist

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitation services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans to support clients in achieving their occupational goals.
- Provide direct and indirect services, including group and individual interventions, to promote clients' occupational performance and well-being.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and community agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and community providers on occupational therapy and psychosocial rehabilitation principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
- Two years' recent experience working with psychiatric clients in an acute or community psychiatric setting.
- Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
- Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists - British Columbia (CAOT - BC).
