Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology Expert to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, coordinating, and analyzing in vivo immuno-oncology efficacy and PK/PD experiments.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of in vivo research, including study design, planning, coordination, and data analysis.
- Manage studies with internal and external partners, including contract research organizations.
- Support animal research associates with animal handling, dosing, and sample collection.
- Perform administrative tasks, including regulatory documentation and protocol updates.
- Organize and perform pharmacodynamic evaluations of immune cell function using flow cytometry, histology, and MSD assays.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and develop new in vivo models.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and scientific guidance to junior staff.
- Summarize and present results to supervisors and project teams.
- Analyze data using software, including Excel, GraphPad Prism, and FlowJo.
- Conduct all activities in accordance with scientific standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- PhD in immunology, pharmacology, cancer biology, or a related scientific discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with rodents.
- Or BSc with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Expertise in running xenograft, syngeneic, or humanized mouse tumor models.
- Understanding of immune cell function in treatment and disease.
- Proficient in animal handling, dosing, and sample collection.
- Demonstrated understanding of in vivo cancer models, therapeutic mechanisms of action, and PK to therapeutic activity.
- Experience with immune cell isolation and flow cytometry.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with contract research organizations.
