Job Title: Senior Software Engineering Manager

AutoTrader Corporation is a leading Canadian online media company, providing innovative solutions for the automotive industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams and drive the development of world-class digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple scrum teams and manage a team of engineers and quality associates to ensure efficient and successful project execution.
  • Hire and train engineering staff, manage timelines, and collaborate with other management personnel.
  • Coach engineering teams and help them address issues by removing barriers.
  • Interface with stakeholders across business development, dealer support, lender product, and other 3rd-party service organizations.
  • Assist the engineering team in managing the technical aspects of our comprehensive online credit application and digital document service.
  • Articulate and translate product vision into technology features and implementation tactics.
  • Communicate the technology strategy effectively to senior stakeholders and team members.
Requirements:
  • Microsoft.Net platform development in C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Web API, etc. using Visual Studio and related tooling.
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban), and related tools (ie: JIRA and Confluence).
  • Github for source control.
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Experience.
  • Experience managing a team of direct engineering reports.
  • Excellent written & spoken English communication & presentation skills.
