Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineering Director to lead our software engineering teams and drive innovation in software architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget, with a proven ability to manage geographically dispersed teams and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Software Architecture: Drive innovation in software architecture, optimizing performance, scalability, and security.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage geographically dispersed software engineering teams, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and productive work environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, data science, and operations, to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to make informed decisions and continuously improve the software engineering department.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
  • Industry Experience: Experience within the AdTech industry or related fields.
  • Team Management: Proven track record in managing geographically dispersed software engineering teams of 70+ engineers and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Software Architecture: Extensive experience in software architecture and a deep understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Agile Delivery: In-depth knowledge of and certification in Agile delivery (SAFe / LEss).
  • Regulated Industries: Experience in managing engineering products that need to comply with privacy regulations such as GDPR, TCF, etc.
  • Senior Leadership: This is a senior leadership role and the ideal candidate requires 20+ years of experience within engineering delivery and execution.
