About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Workforce Coordinator to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. In this role, you will be responsible for administering HRIS and workforce systems, coordinating onboarding activities, and analyzing timecards for payroll processing.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will need a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, such as Business Administration, Office Administration, Human Resources, or Payroll Administration. You will also require 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources and/or payroll administration in a large, complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administers HRIS and workforce systems throughout the employee life cycle
  • Coordinates all onboarding activities and facility orientation of new employees
  • Analyzes and validates timecards in the processing of bi-weekly payroll
  • Ensures accuracy of seniority lists and follows established procedures for all internal job postings and associated employee assignments
  • Allocates and replaces shift vacancies in accordance with collective agreements, company policies, and operational guidelines
  • Ensures accurate schedules are completed and implemented within defined timelines
  • Acts as point of contact for all employee requests for information and additional support on scheduling and payroll issues
