Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Machine Operator to join our team at Kingsview Renovation, Flooring & Staircase Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Replace parts as required
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards. The ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods is also required.
