We are seeking a skilled EAP Clinical Counselor to join our team of mental health professionals.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals and organizations by providing emotional support and guidance.

About the Opportunity

  • Location: Remote or hybrid, depending on proximity to our Toronto office
  • Salary: $62,000 CAD per year
  • Years of experience: 1 year of direct counseling experience
  • Language: Clinical counseling experience in English and French

About the Role

As an EAP Clinical Counselor, you will engage with participants over the phone, video, chat, and email. Your primary responsibility will be to create a supportive and non-judgmental space for clients to discuss their concerns.

You will work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and develop strategies to overcome challenges. This may involve providing single-session telephonic and video counseling, crisis management, and referrals to external resources when necessary.

Requirements

  • Social worker, counselor, or psychologist with a Master's degree or diploma
  • Licensure or clinical certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of direct client contact providing counseling or mental health services
  • Experience using short-term counseling modalities such as Solution-Focused, CBT, Mindfulness, Integrative, and Systemic counseling
