Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator Professional to join our team at Chandos. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, including documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders. You will work closely with our project managers and superintendents to ensure that all project requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project documentation, including meeting minutes, change orders, shop drawings, and progress claims.
  • Set up and maintain project reporting procedures, including cost reports, project status reports, and document drawing control.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, track responses, and advise stakeholders on project progress.
  • Assist in the management of trade contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoices, and control document process.
  • Manage all project administration activities, including payroll, timekeeping, labor coding, equipment coding, purchase-order coding, and safety reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A technical diploma in an appropriate construction-related field (CET), or equivalent construction experience.
  • Two or more years of experience as a Project Coordinator with a general contractor.
  • Able to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.
  • A solid understanding of all construction trades, safety, and construction techniques.
  • Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation.
