Bulk Petroleum Delivery Professional

At Riverbend Co-op, we are seeking a skilled Bulk Petroleum Delivery Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering fuel to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver product to customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain all required documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer requirements in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all loading and unloading procedures are followed, prioritizing the safe and proper handling of fuel
- Perform preventative maintenance on assigned unit, adhering to the truck service and maintenance schedule
- Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills, with a strong ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Knowledge of federal and provincial laws and regulations, including Transport Canada and Environment Canada
- Excellent driving ability in all weather conditions, with a safe driving record and clean Driver's Abstract
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow a tight schedule
- Ability to understand and follow proper accident/incident response protocol
- Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a cost-efficient manner
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class 1A)
- Safe driving record and clean Driver's Abstract, which must be updated annually
- Ability to perform regular heavy lifting and bending, up to 25 kilograms (50 pounds)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, energy, initiative, and enthusiasm
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively, with mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time, resolving problems independently
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace, prioritizing safety above all else
