The primary objective of this role is to respond to security-related incidents and alerts, as well as infrastructure-related incidents and changes, as part of the day-to-day operations of the NSOC Team. The team processes tickets that are escalated from other service desk teams or created automatically by our RMM system.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be highly organized with excellent time management skills. They will also have a high degree of technical knowledge and the ability to reach technical resolutions.

Responsibilities

  • Handle tickets escalated by other service desk teams or created automatically.
  • Communicate with clients and ensure their needs are taken care of.
  • Document work in a timely manner.
  • Assist other service desk team members with security-related questions and best practices.
  • Help expand the company's knowledge base.
  • Participate in NSOC on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Experience with SonicWALL firewalls.
  • Experience with Fortinet Fortigate firewalls.
  • Experience with Cisco switching and enterprise wireless solutions.
  • Experience with managed Anti-Virus and EDR solutions.
  • Experience with Email Security / Antispam solutions.
  • Experience with RMM and/or NMS solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Platforms.
  • Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare virtualization platforms.
