About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team at RONA Inc. as a key member of our Pricing Strategy team. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in coordinating and executing our pricing strategy across various business categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify pricing opportunities and provide sound pricing recommendations.
  • Pricing Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure category pricing aligns with our defined pricing strategy, providing advice and financial recommendations while identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Competitive Pricing: Analyze market price fluctuations and propose recommendations to maintain a competitive pricing position in the market.
  • Business Partnership: Act as a business partner with Merchandising teams while facilitating communication with the FP&A Finance support team.
  • Pricing Awareness: Increase awareness and discussion of Pricing and Pricing Strategy throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, with retail experience being an asset.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, strong problem-solving skills, action-oriented and timely decision-making, ability to quickly turn around and manage multiple priorities, high proficiency in Excel, Access, and related Microsoft software applications, strong attention to detail, and demonstrated knowledge of advanced business reporting.
