We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our team at RONA Inc. in Boucherville, Quebec. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing our pricing strategy across various business categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand market dynamics and identify pricing opportunities to provide sound pricing recommendations.
  • Liaise with the Merchandising team to align category pricing with our defined pricing strategy.
  • Analyze market price fluctuations and propose recommendations to maintain a competitive pricing position.
  • Act as a business partner with Merchandising teams and facilitate collaboration with the FP&A Finance support team.
  • Increase awareness and discussion of pricing and pricing strategy throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing.
  • Retail experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Action-oriented and timely decision-making, with the ability to quickly turn around and manage multiple priorities.
  • High proficiency in Excel, Access, and related Microsoft software applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated knowledge of advanced business reporting.
  • Proactive attitude with regard to gathering and verifying business and financial information.
  • Autonomy and ability to set priorities and achieve goals.
