Cabinetmaker - Woodwork Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Masterpiece Granite & Marble Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodwork and cabinetmaking, with experience in trimming joints, fitting parts together, and reinforcing joints. The right individual will be able to study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
- Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
- Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Supervise other workers
- Estimate costs and materials
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Or equivalent experience
