We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at 9425-7698 Quebec Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Menu Planning: Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements for special events and daily operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity and attention to detail.
Security and Safety:The candidate must undergo a criminal record check.
Transportation/Travel Information:Public transportation is available.
