Senior Construction Project Manager for Canadian Industrial Supplies

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our construction projects at Canadian Industrial Supplies and Services Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects* Evaluate daily operations and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals* Plan and organize daily operations to maximize efficiency and productivity* Select trade subcontractors and negotiate contracts* Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates* Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers* Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors* Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress* Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements* Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control* Operate CADD and other computer software systems* Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings* Plan and manage budgets* Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions* Develop and implement quality control programs* Develop risk management plans* Oversee the analysis of data and information* Prepare reports
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in construction project management* Bachelor's degree in a related field* Strong project management skills and experience with coordinating multiple projects simultaneously* Excellent communication and leadership skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Familiarity with CADD and other computer software systems* Experience with reading blueprint, schemas, and drawings* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively* High level of organization and attention to detail* Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities* Strong knowledge of construction industry best practices* Familiarity with labor laws and regulations
