Food Service Manager

Eggs and more is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of pressure. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
