About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Real Estate Financing team in origination, due diligence, and portfolio management.
  • Assist in the preparation of credit committee submissions, closings, and ongoing loan monitoring.
  • Contribute to the development of business opportunities and attend prospect meetings.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the Real Estate environment through ongoing research and networking events.
Key Responsibilities

As a Real Estate Financing Associate Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Active role in the due diligence process and preparation of credit committee presentations.
  • Assist with credit application process, write-up of internal memos, and drafting of commitment letters.
  • Prepare internal memorandums regarding transaction amendments and loan tracking.
  • Complete and analyze due diligence searches and discuss results with the team.
  • Assist with ongoing portfolio management, including portfolio analysis, loan tracking, and liaising with project partners.
  • Verify, analyze, and interpret data regarding new Real Estate Financing opportunities.
  • Coordinate transaction activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional designation (CFA, CPA, AACI, etc) is an asset.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in Real Estate.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Reasonable knowledge of loan structuring and documentation.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and relate them to the Fiera Real Estate business.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-growing, results-oriented environment.
  • Rigorous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage many competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Works well in a team environment, able to multi-task.
