Job Title: Director, Strategy and Reporting

Manulife is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Strategy and Reporting to join our Global Data Technology (GDT) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to business leaders and teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and apply knowledge to drive business growth and improvement
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in strategy, operating models, process engineering, enterprise organizational change management, training, analytics transformations, and data management
  • Proficient in modern data and cloud technologies, including Azure, GCP, and AWS
  • High level of proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, and Co-Pilot
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Viva Engage
  • Experience integrating business and technology teams
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic about people development, including team engagements, training, and development
  • Advanced data, change management, project management (agile and waterfall), talent, and training strategy and analytical skills
  • Experienced in working with non-local team members from other global regions
  • Remains current with emerging technologies, such as Generative Artificial Intelligence, innovations, and practices within the data and analytics industry
