We are seeking a skilled Health and Environmental Compliance Officer to join our team at ADM. As a Health and Environmental Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our facilities and operations meet the highest standards of health and safety. About the Position

As a Health and Environmental Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities and operations meet all relevant health and safety standards and regulations. This includes conducting regular safety audits, investigating incidents, and developing and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting to management as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to mitigate them
  • Investigate incidents and develop and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents
  • Maintain accurate records of safety audits, incidents, and corrective actions
  • Report to management on a regular basis on safety performance and any areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that safety is integrated into all aspects of the business
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards
  • Ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are followed

Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Diploma or certificate in occupational health and safety or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a health and safety role
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to conduct safety audits and investigations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
