Job Summary

As a Labourer - Metallurgy, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, transporting raw materials and finished products, and assisting process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and scrap materials through the plant, ensuring efficient and safe movement.
  • Sort, stack, bundle, and stamp materials, meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing, providing support and expertise as needed.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires a physically demanding work environment, with regular lifting, bending, and standing. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Language and Work Term

This role requires fluency in French and a temporary work term. You must be legally able to work in Canada and be available to work 40 hours per week.
