At Aspira Carolina Retirement Living, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving assignments, assembling required materials and supplies, and transporting them to work areas.

Performing resident room cleaning as per assigned schedules.

Conducting thorough cleaning and disinfecting duties, including sweeping, dry/wet mopping, vacuuming, and rearranging furniture.

Ensuring the privacy of residents during the performance of duties.

Preparing rooms for new occupants, following prescribed procedures to ensure they are tour-ready at all times.

Notifying supervisors when supplies are low or equipment is malfunctioning.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous housekeeping experience is required.

Ability to read, write English, and follow written instructions.

Good understanding of chemical and equipment use.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

WHMIS training is a must.

Strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and team members.

All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check (applicable to Ontario applicants) and Criminal Records Check (applicable to British Columbia applicants).
