Metal Fabrication Assistant

At Sealtek Fabrications Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products. Your duties will also include transporting items throughout the plant using powered equipment, as well as sorting metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for grinding or chipping excess metal from metal products using hand tools and cleaning machines and immediate work areas. If you have experience working in a noisy environment and are comfortable with operating various types of equipment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
