Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

Advance Sheet Metal Ltd. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling sheet metal products in our shop fabrication facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates.
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces.
  • Develop computerized patterns and layouts.
  • Cut materials using power tools or by hand.
  • Assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment.
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads.
  • Flexibility to work in a team environment.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment.

Our shop fabrication facility is located in a variety of locations, and you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload.
