Job OverviewWe are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef Assistant to join our team This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a luxury hotel environment and contribute to the success of our world-class pastry kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in preparing high-quality pastries and desserts for our guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the pastry team to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement new dessert concepts and menus.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Certificate or Diploma from a recognized culinary school.
- Valid City of Toronto Food Handler Certificate required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Competitive salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
