The University of Lethbridge is seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher or graduate student to join our research team in the exciting field of neuroscience.
About the PositionWe are looking for individuals who are passionate about using AI to better understand brain function and behavior, and vice versa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects related to neural learning, predictive neuronal adaptation, and whole-cortex mesoscale imaging.

About the RoleThe primary responsibility of this position will be to contribute to the design, implementation, and analysis of experiments related to AI and neuroscience. This may involve developing new tools and techniques, collecting and analyzing large datasets, and presenting findings through publications and presentations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement experiments to investigate neural learning and predictive neuronal adaptation
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends related to AI and neuroscience
- Develop new tools and techniques to improve data collection and analysis
- Present findings through publications and presentations
To be considered for this position, you must have a strong background in neuroscience, AI, or a related field, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience with programming languages such as Matlab or Python is highly desirable.
A competitive salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
