Liquor Store Supervisor Job Description

Sullivan Liquor Store Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our liquor and wine store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts and minimize losses.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform same duties as sales workers supervised, staying up-to-date on product knowledge and store policies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week in a permanent role.

The Liquor Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
