Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Health and rehab research Inc.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with medical procedures and treatments, as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Maintain patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and sound discrimination
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruitment of newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment
