Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Health and rehab research Inc.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Assist with medical procedures and treatments, as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and sound discrimination.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Recruitment of newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
