Job Title: Data Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Canadian Banking Finance division, you will be responsible for managing data operations from end to end, ensuring high accuracy and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage ETL data operations to satisfy monthly processing and reporting deadlines.
  • Lead development and maintenance efforts of performance reports and core departmental applications.
  • Partner with stakeholders to lead analytical and investigative tasks.
  • Proactively improve and enhance processing efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience with SAS, mainframe programming, Bash/Korn shell scripting on Unix/Solaris.
  • 5-10 years of experience with relational database technology: MSSQL/Hadoop/Oracle.
  • 5-10 years of experience with.NET languages (ASP/VB/C#), IIS and deploying web sites, SharePoint.
  • Python or other open-source programming languages is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
