Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of warehouse operations to meet customer needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to ensure tasks are completed as per customer requirements.
  • Maintain open communication with the Warehouse Manager regarding shift events.
  • Assist in training staff to enhance their ability to assemble orders accurately.
  • Take ownership of warehouse operations during shifts, making sound business decisions in the best interest of the organization.
  • Accurately complete order assembly and loading of products onto trucks.
  • Receive goods according to Farm Boy standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing products.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment and warehouse.
  • Monitor all goods entering and exiting the warehouse to guarantee correct documentation.
  • May be requested to perform other related duties on a periodic basis.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in the retail food industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, driving quality and customer service standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet established goals and objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, time management, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Fluency in both official languages shall be considered an asset.
Work & Sensory Environment
  • Unavoidable exposure to potentially hazardous environmental elements such as noise, dirt, dust, vibration, and changing temperatures.
  • Lack of control over work pace due to multiple and/or tight deadlines beyond one's control.
  • Required to wear protective clothing or equipment during shifts.
  • Required to lift, carry, or handle heavy objects.
Additional Information

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $75,000 per annum, based on location and experience. Accommodation is available upon request for applicants and employees with disabilities.
