The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Marketing Manager to play a leading role in reaching, educating, and engaging our key personas with compelling and relevant content. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that drives pipeline growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Develop a content marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and resonates with our target audience.
  • Execution: Create a steady stream of high-quality content across various channels, including blog posts, social media, email newsletters, and more.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and report on content marketing performance using web analytics tools, marketing automation platforms, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Web Traffic: Contribute to search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives by optimizing content for keywords and meta tags.
  • Innovation and AI: Stay up-to-date with the latest content marketing trends and best practices, and implement innovative strategies to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Distribution: Collaborate with marketing program owners and content strategists to integrate and repurpose content across various channels.
  • Resourcing: Manage internal content marketing resources, agencies, consultants, or freelancers to ensure high-quality content creation.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS company.
  • Hands-on writing and content creation experience, ideally in a high-growth ecommerce or vertical SaaS business with an enterprise customer base.
  • Strategic content planning experience to create content that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement and conversions.
  • Complex project management experience, including managing internal content creators and outside contractors.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and consensus-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new business domain knowledge to content strategy and asset creation.
  • Ability to understand, digest, and distill complex concepts for broad consumption via engaging content.
  • Keyword research skills and basic technical SEO knowledge.
