Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Livestock Farm Labourer to join our team at HyLife Foods LP. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of our swine herd, ensuring the health and well-being of the animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily feeding, cleaning, and monitoring of the swine herd.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures.
  • Maintain quality control and production records.
  • Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and efficient in work habits.
