Terminal Operations Specialist

SGS is seeking a skilled Terminal Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Terminal Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our marine terminal.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise all products transfers by working with the refinery, vessel staff, and contractors.
- Ensure proper operability and reliability of process equipment, supply and delivery systems, and site security, environmental, and business controls.
- Perform quality rounds, site inspections, and equipment maintenance tasks.
- Monitor transfer line and terminal activity to ensure compliance with regulations and client procedures.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including operators, marine group, and supply teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience through education.
- Experience in marine terminal operations and trade ticket with industrial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of government regulations and marine standards (ISGOTT) is a major asset.
- Valid driver's license required.
- First aid/CPR certification and portable defibrillator certification required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to work a shift schedule, meet on-call requirements, and work overtime when required.
