Job Title: Delivery Driver/Swamper

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our Calgary Delivery team as a Delivery Driver/Swamper. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a valid Class 5 License and a 5-year commercial driver's abstract.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and delivering flooring materials to various job sites throughout Calgary and surrounding areas. This is a highly labour-intensive position that requires excellent time management and prioritizing skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive to and from job sites, delivering flooring materials in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load and unload products for deliveries using safe lifting methods.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and meet daily production goals.
  • Follow Company Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting in warehouse operations when necessary.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Class 5 Drivers License.
  • Air Brake Endorsement (Q) considered an asset.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to work in a close team environment.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and written, in English.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance record.
  • Reliable and hardworking.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
