As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, resilient, and carpet. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert advice on the best flooring solutions for their homes and businesses.

Responsibilities:

* Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
* Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
* Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors
* Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
* Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
* Prepare floors for installations
* Employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting
* Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
* Install resilient stair components and vinyl decking materials
* Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

Requirements:

* 2+ years of experience in flooring installation
* Strong knowledge of flooring materials and installation techniques
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
