About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires 35 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation
  • Maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Post journal entries, prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting
  • Strong knowledge of MS Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows, and Word
  • Basic security clearance
