Echocardiographer Specialist

Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team. As an Echocardiographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

• Perform echocardiography procedures with precision and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures and related processes in diagnostic echocardiography.
• Provide exceptional patient care before and after examinations.
• Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy legislation.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance imaging skills.
• Collaborate with the team through meetings, in-service programs, and educational opportunities.
• Proficiently use departmental electronic information systems.

• Graduate of an accredited program in Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Adult Echocardiography.
• Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Liability insurance coverage as mandated by CMRITO.
• Registration with Sonography Canada or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARMDS).
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and judgment to perform procedures.
• Standards of Practice compliance and competency as described by Sonography Canada.

• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends, statutory holidays, and days.
• Non-Union position with a competitive hourly rate.
• COVID-19 vaccination requirement for all staff.
