Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Manager to join our team at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and coordination of our Diagnostic Imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Diagnostic Imaging team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Systems Management: Oversee the maintenance of accurate information related to imaging within the patient electronic record and the imaging repositories.
  • Financial Management: Plan, prepare, and submit budgets for approval, and monitor and control utilization, spending, and budget allocations.
  • Quality Management and Continuous Improvement: Monitor the physical environment, identify deficiencies or unsafe conditions, and develop plans of action.
  • Human Resources: Staff areas of responsibility effectively, provide performance appraisals, and identify educational needs of team members.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified Registered Technologist in Radiography or a Registered Medical Ultrasonographer currently registered with the relevant professional associations.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital Radiology or Ultrasonography Department, with 3 years' experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong team player with excellent teaching, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to meet operational requirements, including hours of work or on-call situations.
