Job Title: Swing Manager

MCJFC FOOD ENTERPRISES LTD. is seeking a skilled Swing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless communication and efficient food preparation.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
