Waste Management Driver

Job Summary:
Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes, adhering to Occupational Health & Safety and Ministry of Transportation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using standard DVIR, noting all issues for corrective review/repair.
- Operate vehicle in accordance with company expectations for the Fleet, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.
- Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Route Manager.
- Work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
- Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager.
Requirements:
- Hold a current DZ or Class 3 license or higher with an air-brake endorsement.
- Acceptable driving record required.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
