About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intelligent Automation Developer, Student to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing process automation solutions that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop process automation solutions using advanced programming and configuration skills.
  • Analyze operational processes and recommend scope for automation to improve business outcomes.
  • Elicit, document, and manage stakeholder requirements to meet business and project objectives.
  • Build and implement controls and metrics into automated processes to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Develop and configure systems to support automation solutions.
  • Code and configure Bots to automate business processes.
  • Draft and validate test plans to ensure automated processes meet business requirements.
  • Provide documentation and training to support automation solutions.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering (Software or Industrial), or Robotics or Automation Engineering.
  • Experience in software requirements analysis and programming concepts, with proficiency in multiple programming languages and platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to new and emerging situations.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies, with experience in automation and process improvement.
  • Passion for leveraging emerging technology to simplify business processes and improve operational efficiency.
